Australia captain Meg Lanning won the toss and invited India to bat in the second Women’s ODI match here on Friday.

Australia was forced to form a change in their team. Rachel Haynes, who scored an unbeaten 93 within the previous match, will miss this match thanks to injury. Nicola Carey has been included within the playing XI in his place.

India have made a change within the ir team which suffered a crushing defeat by nine wickets in the first match. He has kept Rajeshwari Gaikwad within the playing XI in situ of Sneh Rana.

After suffering a crushing defeat within the first match, the Indian women’s cricket team will need to perform well in every department within the second ODI to be held here on Friday to stay Australia’s 25-match winning campaign alive within the three-match series. India expect big knocks from their batsmen, especially Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana within the top-order. Both of them couldn’t provides a good start within the last match. India lost this match by nine wickets.
