Top Gun: Maverick also set the record for Memorial Day’s holiday weekend collection is $156 million and it was old record made by Disney’s 2007 “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.” The film in the “Pirates” franchise earned $153 million over the extended holiday weekend.
